We couldn’t help but notice the irony of building an outdoor kitchen right outside a gym of windows. After all, there’s nothing like watching someone grill a burger while you’re sweating out calories on the treadmill.
In all seriousness, though, this business park in San Jose, CA was a great place for an outdoor kitchen. Much care went into designing the outdoor area so that the barbecue island didn’t get lost in front of a large commercial building. The tiled patio, grassy seating area, and massive pergola (which is just as much a piece of modern art as it is a practical structure) all work together to ensure that the outdoor kitchen stands out like it should.
